Postecoglou has made it evident that if a player doesn’t fit into his plans or style of play, they won’t be sticking around at Tottenham. Those who don’t meet his criteria have been shown the door, and Reguilon could be next.
Pedro Porro has firmly established himself as Tottenham’s starting right-back, with a series of impressive performances during pre-season. Additionally, the club secured the signing of Archie Gray, a versatile player whose primary position is in the midfield but can also operate as a right-sided fullback.
With Royal now securing a permanent transfer to AC Milan, his move is seen as a significant step in the Brazilian’s career. Following his departure, Royal took to Instagram to share his excitement, prompting several of his former Spurs teammates to respond in the comments.
Sergio Reguilon wished him well, writing, “Come on, brother. Good luck.” Pedro Porro added, “Go with everything, brother. You deserve a lot. Good luck.” Other players like Giovani Lo Celso and Thiago Silva also shared their congratulations and support for Royal’s new chapter in Milan.
