Though retired from football, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce continues to proudly express his disdain for the Dallas Cowboys—most notably with a bumper sticker on his Tesla Cybertruck.
The sticker, a familiar sight on American roads, typically features the mischievous Calvin from Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes urinating on a logo. In Kelce’s case, the character is replaced by a drawing of kite-flying Benjamin Franklin, who is relieving himself on the Cowboys’ star instead of a Chevy or Ford emblem.
A video of Kelce proudly displaying the sticker on Sears Street in Philadelphia went viral this week, earning cheers from Eagles fans and jeers from critics, especially those unimpressed by the Cybertruck’s unconventional design.
“Trying to own someone while driving a Cybertruck doesn’t work,” one critic wrote on X, taking a dig at the pricey electric vehicle, which ranges from $82,000 to $102,000. Another added, “The problem is the sticker is on a Cybertruck, so it’s immediately less cool.”
Others on X shared similar sentiments, with one stating, “The first bad decision Jason Kelce ever made is buying a Cybertruck,” while another lamented, “Love the sticker, but that’s an ugly truck. It looks like something out of Mad Max, just pieces of sheet metal bolted to a frame.”
Despite the backlash, some Eagles fans were more supportive. “Jason Kelce with the greatest bumper sticker ever on his Cybertruck LMAO,” one fan posted on X, while another added, “Never change, Jason Kelce.”
Cowboys fans, however, were quick to clap back. One wrote, “He can put as many stickers as he wants… we own them anyway,” pointing out that Kelce retired with an 11-13 record against the Cowboys. Many also responded with variations of “rent free,” implying that the Cowboys occupy significant space in Kelce’s mind.
