No issues- here we go! Transfer guru sets out Celtic transfer timeline

Fabrizio Romano has outlined the timeline for Alex Valle’s announcement as a Celtic player, as the young defender is set to join on a season-long loan.

The news emerged Thursday night, shortly after Brendan Rodgers shared his expectations following Celtic’s 3-0 victory against St Mirren.

Despite a strong financial position, bolstered by Matt O’Riley’s sale to Brighton, Michael Nicholson has yet to bring in any outfield signings to strengthen last season’s squad. The first team’s quality has been spread thin, particularly at left-back—a position Celtic has struggled with for some time. It quickly became evident that Rodgers had limited confidence in Alexandro Bernabei, who was loaned out to Internacional of Brazil in February.

Valle, who spent last season on loan at Levante and played 30 matches in Spain’s second tier, was also part of Barcelona’s pre-season squad.

With the Glasgow Derby approaching on Sunday, followed by a match against Hearts and the start of the Champions League on September 17-19, it may be challenging for Valle to break into the Celtic starting lineup immediately.

As there are no reserve fixtures, the 20-year-old from Barcelona will need to make a strong impression in training, with the upcoming international break providing a crucial opportunity to get up to speed.
