**PHOENIX – Music icon Carlos Santana has canceled his upcoming Phoenix concert, originally set for Labor Day, due to a health concern.**
The 77-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will pause his tour to address a back issue requiring a medical procedure. Following a series of performances in California this week, Santana will not be able to appear at the Footprint Center on Monday, as announced on Tuesday. This Phoenix show was part of Santana’s “Oneness Tour” with Counting Crows, and was scheduled toward the end of the tour.
Tickets went on sale in February. Fans who bought their tickets through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds. Those who purchased through third-party sites like StubHub or SeatGeek will need to contact the respective sellers for refund details.
Santana is expected to return to performing with a series of shows at House of Blues in Las Vegas, starting on October 30.
The band’s last performance in Arizona took place in June 2019 at Ak-Chin Pavilion, now known as Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre.
