Fabrizio Romano hints Spurs won’t stop at Solanke in exciting transfer update

Tottenham Hotspur is gearing up for a busy conclusion to the summer transfer window, with the club eyeing multiple reinforcements to bolster their attacking options. Alongside their pursuit of Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, Spurs are also in the market for an additional forward, signaling their intent to strengthen the squad before the deadline.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, discussions are already underway regarding Solanke, whose performances at Bournemouth have caught Tottenham’s attention. However, the club’s ambitions don’t stop there, as they are keen to bring in another attacking player to further enhance their lineup.

Romano recently shared insights with GiveMeSport, stating, “I think the main focus is going to be up front. They need one more offensive player, at least one. Could be two, based on opportunities. But for sure, Tottenham will be busy there. For example, one of the players they like is Dominic Solanke. It’s something that I said in the past few days because I’m told that Tottenham really explored the possibility of making a move for Dominic Solanke.”

In addition to Solanke, Spurs have identified Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze and Wolves’ Pedro Neto as prime targets to strengthen their attack. Eze’s potential transfer could involve triggering his £60 million release clause, representing a significant financial commitment from the club.

Pedro Neto, who has long been on Tottenham’s radar, is expected to command a similar fee. Both players are under contract with their current clubs until 2027, making negotiations potentially challenging for Spurs.

Despite the obstacles, Tottenham’s leadership remains determined to reinforce the squad significantly. The addition of Solanke, along with a dynamic attacker like Eze or Neto, would provide a crucial boost to their offensive firepower.

As the transfer deadline approaches, Spurs fans will be eagerly awaiting updates, hoping the club can finalize these deals and head into the new season with a strengthened squad.
