Milan News Report: AC Milan Ready to End Transfer Stalemate with Tottenham’s
The stalemate appears to be over.
According to Milan News, Emerson Royal has consistently been AC Milan’s top target this summer. Despite hitting a roadblock in negotiations with Tottenham and considering other candidates, Milan is now back at the negotiating table with Spurs, ready to meet their demands or at least come closer.

Reported fees vary, but the common theme is that Spurs and AC Milan are now only €3m-€5m apart in their valuations of Emerson Royal. Fabrizio Romano places the gap at €3m (£2.5m), while Sky Italia reports Milan’s bid at €15m (£12.7m), with Tottenham holding out for €20m (£16.9m).
Regardless of the exact figures, Gianluca Di Marzio asserts that Spurs and Milan are closer than ever to finalizing the deal, although some work remains.
My prediction is that this will be done within the next seven days. Spurs will agree to a loan with an obligation to buy, with a total package reaching around £15m.
It is said that Emerson himself has been pushing hard for the move in the background, which has gone a long way to encouraging AC Milan to make their move.
