Erling Haaland has complained about one thing at Manchester City – which has now been changed.
That is according to the Daily Mail.
So, what was Erling Haaland unhappy about? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Norway international has been complaining about the standard of fish served in the club canteen.
One staff member at Manchester City anonymously told the Daily Mail: “Haaland’s been banging on about the fish. He wanted salmon, so he made the nutritionist arrange for the best fish restaurant in Norway to have their kitchen staff fly over. It’s cost the club an absolute fortune – but it’s the best salmon I’ve ever had.”
It is also said that the Norwegian – who Manchester City would love to pair with Kylian Mbappe – consumes 6,000 calories a day by eating cow heart, liver and drinking specially filtered water.
It may be quite an unorthodox request from Haaland, although Manchester City are clearly happy to meet his demands if it means he continues to be this prolific in front of goal.
That stunning 52-goal haul came before Manchester City started importing Haaland’s favourite salmon into England, so hopefully, this slight change to his diet will make the Leeds-born striker even more effective.
Haaland could miss Manchester City vs Liverpool
Hopefully, Haaland’s special salmon helps him recover from injury faster, as the Manchester City No.9 is facing a race against time to be fit for Saturday’s clash against Liverpool.
The Norwegian missed Norway’s 3-3 draw against Scotland due to a foot problem, and he remains a doubt for the visit of Jürgen Klopp’s side.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as we await to see if Haaland regains full fitness before Saturday.
