Newcastle’s representatives to meet with 18-year-old sensation’s family over summer move

Newcastle United are on the charm offensive to try and secure a deal for Turkish wonderkid Arda Guler this summer.

The Fenerbahce youngster has caught the eye of a lot of Europe’s top clubs this season for his amazing ability on the ball. He has been likened to Lionel Messi in the way that he plays.

Newcastle have already held a meeting with his family in Dubai to lay out their plans for Arda Guler, and it seems they are set to meet again next week according to reports from Turkish outfit Karar.

Ajax are also set to meet with Arda Guler’s family
Ajax are also set to meet with Arda’s family and will give their pitch as to why he should sign for them. They are renowned for their academy, but away from that the club are currently in turmoil, whereas Newcastle are a club very much on the up.

Fenerbahce are of course very keen to keep Arda at the club for at least another year according to Karar. However, a bizarre clause in his contract may make that impossible. Newcastle could land Arda for just £4.3million thanks to a clause in his contract tied to his game time. That could leave Newcastle with the option to buy Arda and loan him back to Fenerbahce for next season to continue his development there.

It’s unlikely, as good as Arda is, that he’d be in Newcastle’s plans to feature heavily next season so a loan move would likely be on the cards anyway, so if loaning him back sweetens the deal it may not be a bad option.

That being said, with all the hype surrounding him, he might be first-team ready already. He’s certainly held his own in the Turkish Super Lig and even has a goal and assist to his name in the Europa League to go along with his six goals and five assists in the league.

Newcastle fans are starting to get excited over ‘Turkish Messi’
That hype is growing too with Newcastle fans sharing compilation videos on social media of the 18-year-old showing off his amazing abilities.

Newcastle have been working on this one for a while and I’m starting to become quite confident that we will emerge victorious in the battle for his signature over Ajax.

With the young players we already have and the ones we are linked with, the future at Newcastle is extremely exciting.
