PUNDIT CLAIMS HARRY KANE JOINING MANCHESTER UNITED AFTER NEWCASTLE UNITED CLAIM

Shaka Hislop says he can’t see a player of Harry Kane’s ilk going to Newcastle United from Tottenham Hotspur when the summer transfer window re-opens.

The 29-year-old’s future is up in the air at Tottenham and former Newcastle United goalkeeper Hislop thinks he will go to ‘either Bayern Munich or Manchester United’, as he told ESPN.

Ahead of Eddie Howe’s side needing one more point to book their Champions League ticket, Hislop was discussing what his former club needs in the market, as he spoke about an ‘out-and-out number nine’ needing to be brought in.

With Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak, the men up top, the name of Chelsea-owned, Romelu Lukaku, who is on-loan at Inter, was brought up.

Not only will PIF have the money to lure some of Europe’s top talents, but also Champions League football will be on the table. They need one point from their remaining two games to seal that top-four finish.

Whilst Hislop would love a player of Harry Kane’s ilk at St James’ Park, he just can’t see it happening.

On who Newcastle should sign: “Obviously somebody of Harry Kane’s ilk,” said Hislop. “But I just think, if Harry Kane leaves, he is going to go to either Bayern or Manchester United, I would say.”

HAALAND OVERSHADOWING KANE
The England captain has an incredible 28 goals in the Premier League this season – only bettered by Manchester City’s goal-crazy machine, Erling Haaland.

The Manchester City man has netted 36 of his own and is going to win the Golden Boot at a canter.

But, it was suggested that the ‘phenomenal’ Kane is going under the radar because of Haaland’s performances, which have ended with the 22-year-old winning the Premier League title and now being on the verge of securing the treble.
