It’s stated that the player in question has been wanted by Tottenham for a long time now and Spurs could make their move this summer.
However, the player in question is ‘having doubts’ about the move because Tottenham are – to put it kindly – a mess right now.
Spurs don’t have a director of football or a manager right now following the departures of Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte.
Potential signings just aren’t sure what they would be signing up for right now and are hesitant to commit to Tottenham.
That leaves Spurs in real danger of missing out on signings this summer in what feels eerily similar to the 2021 window.
