Saudi clubs now ready to offer £22m Tottenham player huge deal as well as Richarlison

Tottenham Hotspur face a fight to keep hold of their star striker, Heung-Min Son, with Saudi clubs now plotting their move for him.

Son is the biggest star in Asian football and would represent a huge coup for the Saudi Pro League if they got him to come.

Along with big names like Mo Salah, Son is being targeted by the PIF and Saudi clubs as they bid to spend more money to land the biggest players in the world.

And according to Ben Jacobs, Tottenham skipper Son is firmly on the list for the Saudi regime this summer.

Saudi clubs want to sign Heung-Min Son
Writing for CaughtOffside, Jacobs has offered a big update on the plans for the Saudi Pro League in the next few windows.

Jacobs claims that a whopping £2bn could be spent by Saudi clubs and among the main targets are £22m Tottenham star Heung-Min Son.

Whether or not Son would even consider such a move given he is Tottenham’s skipper and settled, remains to be seen.

But Jacobs writes how Saudi deal makers feel there’s a confidence in doing the deal, and it could be one that plays out over the summer.

Son needs to stay put
It would be an odd move for Heung-Min Son if he decides to pack up and leave for Saudi just as things are going well at Spurs.

Yes, the money will be huge but Son never comes across as a player driven by money and he is already on a hefty packet in north London.

Further, Son is on top of his game and in no way on the decline. To leave now would just seem baffling.

Still, with Saudi clubs already trying to sign Richarlison from Spurs as well, it looks like the club could be in for a rough summer of fighting bids away.
