Tottenham could complete signing ‘in next few days’ – Money ‘would be a godsend’ for club

Despite some claims back in late April-early May that Tottenham were no longer interested in keeping Dejan Kulusevski after failing to qualify for the Champions League, things have changed since.

There’s no denying the Sweden international has had an impact over the past 18 months at Spurs over the course of his loan from Juventus, and now it’s decision time for the London club.

Tuttosport in Italy look at the situation on Friday, and explain the forward ‘continues to be esteemed’ at Tottenham regardless of how he has performed over the course of the season.

This is to a point where the Premier League side are in the process of evaluating a purchase ‘that could be completed in the next few days’.
While they might not get the pre-agreed €35m that Tottenham would have paid had they qualified for the Champions League, Juventus are ‘confident about a figure that is very close to that threshold’.

In fact, getting such money ‘would be a godsend’ for the Serie A side, as it would allow them to finance some of their summer transfers.

It is made clear that ‘an agreement between Tottenham and Juventus remains to be found’ as of today, but the desire from both parties to find one ‘is alive’.
