Premier League outfit Totttenham will reportedly send scouts to watch Juventus youngster Samuel Iling-Junior during the England U21s’ European Championship qualifier against their Northern Irish counterparts on Tuesday evening.
The former Chelsea academy starlet has been linked with a return to England in recent transfer windows following a promising start to life in the Juve first-team.
Iling-Junior made his competitive debut for the Juventus senior side in October 2022, before marking his first appearance in the Champions League with an assist four days later.
Then, four days afterwards, he popped up with another assist in Serie A less than a minute after entering the fray against Lecce.
Iling-Junior finished the 2022-23 campaign with 18 senior appearances, 12 of which came in the league, however, starting opportunities have been slightly harder to come across this year without European football.
Having joined Juventus for free as a teenager in 2020, Iling-Junior, now 20, could represent a significant capital gain if a suitable offer were to come in.
Recent reports have suggested that Tottenham are interested in Englishman, and as per Tuttomercatoweb, the North Londoners will send scouts to watch him in action against Northern Ireland’s U21s on Tuesday.
