According to the report, French goalkeeper Lloris is leaving Tottenham.

Harry Kane, who is the England captain, has already left Spurs.

The striker has joined Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

According to The Athletic, Tottenham head coach Postecoglou and the club have decided to make Son the new Spurs captain.

The £192,000-a-week (SalarySport) forward is the South Korea captain.

Tottenham have also made James Maddison and Cristian Romero the vice-captains.

England international attacking midfielder Maddison joined Tottenham from Leicester City only in the summer transfer window.

Romero is a very experienced defender who won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina.

We believe that Tottenham Hotspur have made the right call regarding Son Heung-min.

Son is a very senior figure in the team and is one of the first names on the teamsheet when he is fit and available.

The 31-year-old is a very mature footballer who keeps his cool and plays with a smile on his face.

The South Korean star makes the right decision on the pitch and has a good temperament.

Son, though, will have to do better this season than he did last campaign.

The forward scored 10 goals and gave six assists in 33 Premier League starts for Tottenham last season.

Spurs could not finish in the Premier League top four.

With Kane gone, Tottenham will have to compensate for the striker’s goals.

Son will have to start banging in the goals for fun again.

In 2021-22, Son scored 23 goals in the Premier League, and in 2020-21, the forward found the back of the net 17 times in the league.
